So, every time I get a night out, I want to go to this particular resturaunt.  Not because the food is great (which it is – pricey but good) not because the atmosphere is great (it’s a little stuffy for my taste).  I want to go because it has a cocktail that just puts me in my happy place.  Like one down and the week melts-away.  You know what I mean?  Man is it good.  And, I cannot believe that it has just dawned on me to ask the bartender how to make it!!!!!! Lame-oooo!!!
So here it is: The Pear Ginger Cocktail (sorry for calling it a martini on Insta – I had already started my weekend!)

What you need:
-A pear, fresh ginger, lemon, lime, pear flavored vodka, ginger ale, ice (and simple sugar or sugar to taste!).
How-To make 1 cocktail:
– Get out your favorite vintage glass, add ice.  Cut up about 2 slices of pear, about a tablespoon of ginger and muddle them together (that the cool wooden tool pictured) – set aside.  Add about an ounce and 1/5 of vodka to your cup of ice, squeeze in a half a lemon and lime, plop in your pear & ginger.  Top off with some ginger ale and inhale!  I mean, enjoy!!!
{If you do want it a bit sweeter just add a pinch of sugar or simple sugar…}
