Dip Dye Thigh High

Pretty much falling over with excitement for fall, for these pictures, for the dip dyed tassel adorned thigh highs, and for this bitchen wall hanging I made for a client!!!  Man, talk about good day!  Dang!  To get these thigh highs just dip em (check out that simple tutorial here!).  I bought these off white colored thigh highs from Free People, dipped them in Dark Blue Rit Dye then sewed on the double sided tassels.  (You can see how to make the double sided tassels here!)

Note:  I can’t decide if I like the way the white shows through the ribbing of the socks. If you don’t, stuff the top of the socks with something (other old socks?) and then dip.

Over the knee socks are a must have for me this fall!  Don’t store your legging just yet but these sure give a dress with cozy sweater and boots a bit more sex appeal.  Ok, maybe not much sex appeal for me, maybe more Wednesday Adams vibe but I’m good with it!.  Either way, over-the-knee // thigh high // tall socks are my #1.  I’d love to see how you’re wearing them!
